Finding that fine balance where connection, clarity, and progression unite. Offering the horse a path they can truly understand, trust, and grow within.
Many horse people struggle with Fragmented approaches and training that often overlooks the horse’s emotional attunement and developmental readiness
Throughout my own years of study and experience.
I always wanted to bring the emotional, mental, and physical dimensions of the horse together in a coherent path of training and development.
I have come across many horse people who share this longing — caring deeply about their horses and wanting to do the best thing, yet often feeling they are working with fragmented knowledge and training.
Without a clear, holistic roadmap that supports the horse’s mental, physical, and emotional development in alignment, it becomes easy to unintentionally overface the horse.
When this happens, progress often stalls. Horse and human can remain stuck at the same stage or miss key opportunities where clarity, confidence, and partnership could have been strengthened.
Over time, this misalignment can lead to confusion, disconnection, or quiet discouragement on both sides.
Alignment in Action Where Feel, Timing, and Skill Turn Partnership Into Real-Life Progress
Every interaction with the horse is a chance to strengthen the partnership.
When you lead with refined feel, timing, and embodied clarity - supported by an attuned ability to truly read the horse - you translate biomechanical understanding and empathic awareness into skills your horse can trust and enjoy, responding not from obedience, but from understanding.
This creates the long term mutual trust and a willing partnership that functions in real life, the kind you’ve always longed for.

My mission is to make every moment with your horse a step toward deeper mutual understanding, connection, and growth.
To empower you to become a confident horseperson - skilled in both relationship and training - so you and your horse can unlock your full potential together in mutual enjoyment.

From the first time I sat on a horse, I was captivated by its strength, intelligence, and presence. I was fortunate to spend much of my childhood at my aunt’s horse farm, riding with natural ease.
Later, when that place was no longer available, I entered more traditional environments accessible to me at the time. In many of the horses I encountered tension and subtle discomfort behind their compliant eyes.
I could no longer find the same joy or ease in riding that had once felt so natural. It was then that the dream of having my own horse took shape. I wanted to understand horses in all their aspects and prepare myself thoroughly for that responsibility.
That was the beginning of my path from intuition to expertise.
That path became a lived journey, driven by the desire to better understand horses in all their aspects of being and how they adapt within our human world while staying as close as possible to their true nature and innate needs.
My formal studies began with a three-year professional education in comprehensive horse training and riding, grounded in a holistic understanding of the horse as a complete being. This marked the beginning of decades of continued study, refinement, and specialization.
My approach is grounded in a thorough understanding of the horse as a whole being - physical, mental, and emotional - shaped by years of study and hands-on experience in equine behaviour and psychology, ethology, nervous system regulation, cognition, and the refined precision of equine communication and body language. This includes in-depth education in biomechanics and the gymnastic development of the horse - focusing on posture, balance, coordination, and functional body use that support healthy, sound movement.
Over the years, through my own herd of seven horses and the privilege of working with a wide range of other horses - from those carrying emotional trauma to young, inexperienced, sensitive, or misunderstood partners, as well as steady schoolmasters - each has shaped my understanding in a unique way, refining what truly supports a horse’s development.
My way of working reflects that long immersion in study and lived experience - grounded in high ethical standards and aligned relational horsemanship: a way of working in which horses are given a voice, understood, and supported to grow alongside us.
Before dedicating myself fully to Aligned Horsemanship, I worked as a Human Resource Manager in the corporate world.
There, I carried responsibility not only for results, but for people - shaping environments where talent was recognised, and where potential could unfold. I gained a deep understanding of how humans learn, regulate, and perform under pressure.
Driven by a passion to understand the full nature of the human being within myself I immersed myself in the study of human psychology and embodied development, yoga, body awareness, breathwork, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and high-performance coaching, all rooted in a desire to live with greater balance and authenticity and to bring more awareness, purpose, and vitality into everything I do.
All of these studies and lived experiences now flow directly into Aligned Horsemanship, shaping the way I live, teach, and guide.
Horses have shaped the way I see the world.
They have taught me patience, humility, and the beauty of presence. My passion for teaching comes from deep respect for the horse, the human, and for the unique relationship between them.
Teaching is not just something I do; it is something I love - helping horses and humans grow into a partnership that feels truthful, skilled, and deeply alive.
Guiding you and your horse in understanding one another better, whilst finding joy in the process and celebrating every step, big or small - toward harmony and shared fulfilment.

I’ve learned so much from Veronique. Across so many layers and not all of it can be captured in words.
One of the most essential things, among many, is that it brought about a profound shift in my perspective in how I relate and train horses. Such a clear way of seeing, understanding, and working with horses. If has given me so much confidence!
This journey has been truly so special, and deeply transformative. Deep thank you again Veronique for everything!

Indy and I were both insecure and anxious, feeding each other’s fear and unable to move forward.
Training with Veronique step by step, we built a stronger connection and began to truly ‘see’ and ‘feel’ each other.
I became more confident, Indy felt it, and our trust grew.
We became the team I had always dreamed of , something I never thought possible. I’m so grateful we walked this path with Veronique.

With my own horse I ran into many difficulties.
Training with Veronique was a real eye-opener.
Step by step I learned how to rebuild that essential foundation and the refined , clear communication between us.
What a difference!
If you want to cultivate clear, harmonious communication and a partnership built on trust and mutual understanding, Aligned Horsemanship is a must.
It brought so much not just to my horse, but to me as a person.

This work enhances any discipline or approach. I focus on foundational clarity and communication—skills that will elevate whatever path you're already on, whether classical, western, dressage, or other approaches.
Yes. Most "behavior problems" are actually communication gaps or missing foundation pieces in the horse's education. My approach addresses the root cause by rebuilding proper foundations rather than just managing symptoms.
I integrate biomechanics with relationship, technical precision with emotional attunement. It's not just about connection or dominance—it's about developing embodied skills that create a human your horse can genuinely trust and understand. I also bring 30 years of corporate leadership experience and certified yoga training to this work.
This work is ideal for those open to personal growth alongside their horse. It's not suitable for those seeking quick fixes, rigid methods, or approaches that prioritize results over the horse's wellbeing. It requires willingness to examine your own inner state and take responsibility for your role in the relationship.
Many clients notice shifts in their first session. Lasting transformation depends on consistency and which program you choose. The Year Programs create the most comprehensive and lasting change, while Intensives can create powerful breakthroughs in concentrated timeframes.
